The real Rick Ross...

After speaking to Allhiphop earlier this week, former drug trafficker “Freeway” Ricky Ross expresses some additional thoughts via his official blog.
There are a lot of things going on right now with the rapper that stole my identity. It’s been tough on me because part of me whats to jump on him and beat him in the ground for being so arrogant and disrespectful, and then there is another part that said judge another brother that the system has made a clown out of. Build him up and now they are going to let him be turned down. I know that Def Jam is probably going to abandon him now, just another puppet, and they start to look for another to replace him. What people need to do is look at the root, because Def Jam is just as responsible as he is. Now you know they did a back ground check, but they don’t care what they feed our kids as long as they get their dollars. When will we wake up America and learn that there are more important things than the all mighty dollar? It took me going to prison to wake up. Is it going to take us to lose our country? Because America is definitely falling. Just about everybody I talk to tells me how hard it is in almost every industry. I don’t know, maybe I am confused. CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE THIS THING OUT!!!
Peace.

Romeo Gives Away Free Single As New Album Nears

In support of his upcoming new album, High School Romance, Romeo has made his first single, "Get Low Wit It" featuring Akon, available for free download before its release date.
Via AmieStreet.com, the brand new track will be available exclusively for a full three weeks before his album hits stores in June.
"This one's for the fans," said Romeo Miller. "They've always been there for us and dropping this hot track for free is the least we can do to say thanks for all the support."
On AimeStreet, all songs start free and then rise in price based on popularity, up to 98 cents, empowering fans to determine the value of music.
Romeo joins others such as Radiohead, Prince and Nine Inch Nails who are going directly to fans, bypassing traditional distribution methods. Fans coming for Romeo's new track will also be able to download free songs from several other artists.
Romeo's forthcoming album, High School Romance, which will also be available on AmieStreet, includes songs featuring T-Pain and others.
The album official hits stores June 17.

Chevy VOLT (Battey Car)

Since the inception of the Chevy Volt program in 2006, GM's goal has been to offer the range extended electric vehicle for a sub-$30,000 price point. That level has always been seen as the threshold to get high-volume sales of an electric car. Unfortunately, lithium ion batteries remain far too expensive to be able to sell the car at that price profitably. GM has always indicated that they expect the car to remain a money loser in the early years of production, but given the financial difficulties of all the domestic automakers, they can only go so far in subsidizing the car.
Xzibit mourns son... RIP...

“I am telling you this because of the same reason I tell you when [I’m] having great times, life is too short to be fake,” said Los Angeles rapper Xzibit in a blog posted to his MySpace page.
Born prematurely on May 15th, little Xavier Kingston Joiner passed on this morning (May 26) at 3:30am. “[T]his week was extrem[e]ly difficult for him because his lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on his own,” X explained in the message posted shortly after his son tragically expired.
“It is unnatural for a parent to bury a child,” Xzibit added. "Hold on to your kids if you have them, protect them and show them you love them everyday you wake up and see them, don’t take a second you get to hug them teach them and care for them for granted.”
“You can have all the material wealth in the universe but it is NOTHING compared to having your family,” he added. “I am thankful for all of my blessings and im not one to question God's perfect plan, so I leave you with great love and thanks for the love that was sent earlier on my pervious blog to my son. Of course I need to take some time and handle my loss, STAY FOCUSED PEOPLE. Its not promised to any of us.”
